The Simple Woman's Daybook

For Today March 8, 2010

Outside my window....
There is a chill in the air that is said soon to be gone.
The sun is rising and placing a beautiful glow across the yard.

I am thinking....
I can't wait for SPRING!
Florida is having the coldest winter in 30 years.
They also had the longest freeze in 100yrs.

I am thankful for...
my friends, I was very surprised of all the people that thought about
my family last week.

I am wearing...
walking clothes

I am remembering...
that we must keep moving forward
stay positive and remember how blessed we are.

I am creating...
began the hand quilting on this quilt
finally picked up more yarn to continue crocheting on hubbies afghan
I did finish Jonathan's scarf now all the 4 children have their
very own (if little Marissa ever finds hers)

I am going...
to a meeting today, then off to orchestra with all 4 children
feel like I have a very busy week.

I am reading...
.....

I am hoping...
to feel better soon.

From the learning rooms...
will be getting back into school books near the end of the week
due to many things last week and then me getting the flu
the books have been on the side.

I am hearing...
little ones waking wondering to the kitchen for breakfast

I am praying...
our Lord's strength and healing.

From the kitchen...
homemade pizzas
sausage and cornbread
rest of the meals unplanned grocery shopping is due

Around the house...
looks like I have been down, it will get back soon.
The boys did help with the laundry so it wouldn't get backed up.
I want to purge things and have that  freeing feeling that comes along with it.

One of my favorite things...
hugs from my children

A few plans for the rest of week...
meeting, orchestra, going to see SIL and Prepare for Concert!
Monday is the concert of the orchestra. A tribute to Mr. May

Here is a picture I would like to share....
my son showing his mommy the "snow" (frost) from the freeze we received
couple days ago.

Thank you Peggy for hosting the Daybook every week. To read more daybooks visit here.
