Ever hear bird's in the chimney?

For about 5 yrs now we have chimney visitors
Each year we enjoy hearing them come build their nests.
For about two weeks in May they become very loud. We have learned
these are the last  two weeks we spend with them until next year.

The sounds of them coming down the chimney is the most
amazing, they come down with such power
That I am always looking for the thunderclouds.
As the babies grow the sounds become louder and thundering, rumbling and roaring.
In the evening you can sit outside and listen the the swoop and watch
them come in and out.
On a occasion they come in with such power they end up in the fire area.
As a few nights ago when I was waken by one that missed and boy no one was happy.
This year he did find his way back up to his family.
Last year we had two (see picture below) that needed assistance.
We were surprised at how extremely soft they are.

I have posted a link if anyone would also enjoy learning about what
our chimney houses.

Cute babies. It is interesting that they keep coming back to the same place year after year.
