Fresh picked by 6 little hands

Black raspberry bushes line our acres.

Which are producing an abundance of berries this year.

Fresh picked black raspberries from our yard.

cooked into a pie filling.

Made into this homemade pie by one of the 3 who picked all the berries.

2 cups of black raspberries
2/3 cups sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup water
cook over medium heat until thick, stir constantly. Remove from heat and cool.
Pour into pie crust bake at 425 for 35 to 40 minutes.

We doubled the recipe since the pie dish was a bit bigger.

These are the 3 that so proudly picked all the berries for the pie.
.
Every time they came back to the house
Evidence was covering
their tiny little faces, that the berry
picking was being greatly enjoyed.
