changed plan

So here I had my plan. Now I am changing my mind. I redid the drawing of the quilt. I will include the green into the nine patch now. Still playing around with the lay out. I just need to do and stop thinking so hard.

Quilt

Here are the pictures of the fabric and the design drawn out (plotted)

This is the basic idea I may interchange a couple of the fabrics to make it darker and not have so much of the flower print

Wonderful gift

My family went on their yearly vacation they take this time of year. One difference this time, I received the best gift from their trip. I could not have asked for anything better then this.

Fresh ground wheat on a 1830 stone in Tennessee.

I feel so special! I made bread with it today. SO,So good!

(yes I know the date on the photo is wrong I am to lazy to set it)

YES! Plan made!

I have been thinking and thinking. Searching and searching for a new quilt to piece. My friend found this nine patch that I liked about. After lots of searching this morning, and finding the name "disappearing nine patch" and "tossed nine patch". I figured what I want, Only trouble I am having is the amount of fabric yards. No one posts how many yards. It is a scrappy charm quilt.
So I will begin and pray can always adjust the size of the quilt. I am so excited to begin.

I will post photos of the fabrics later. And try to draw up the plan neater then it is now.

As for now spent to much time on computer, children are waiting, the bread making and a dress for my daughter. Yicks is there enough time for all of this plus chores. ;)

Boys and trees

Sunday minutes after daddy left for a week. The boys head for this tree.
Here is where the famous last words echo:
Daddy's last words was most important thing is you all stay safe, well I'm gone.
He was abit concerned being gone that long and us with out a means of transportation.
Well one of my boys I guess wanted to see if he could test the theory. Don't climb that tree you can get hurt. Theory won!
Picture this tree, boy climbing tree, slipping. A scare and a abrashion down the belly is the worst it all turned out to be.
My friend come out and picked us up just in case it turned out to be more but nothing more then a ugly scrape. Got to her place and he had forgotten all about it.
Lets add here he has not so far climbed that tree again yet. But I also have not allowed him to much freedom to find his beloved tree to climb.

As I surfing this morning by wireless card kicked the bucket. Husband (my hero) was at work so I had to sit with no computer. Well not all lost I did accomplish to complete some of my quilt. She is right I can sit all day and quilt and enjoy every minute. It was 7:00pm before I knew with no dinner cooked oooppps. Waffles to the rescue. Now to get all into bed so I my get time with hubby before he leaves in a day.

What do I Live for

I was just over at Motley Moms Blog. Maria over there posted "Things I Live for". Love her list but then she asked, "What do you live for?" got me thinking. I can get so wrapped up in all the negative right now it was nice to read this and think about the real life importants.

So here is what I came up with......

Watching my children grow, becoming their own.
Time with my children everyday.
Hearing them say they love me.
The boys playing violin and wanting too.
My little girl saying "I want to be just like you, mommy."
Watching my oldest son everyday take on a task on his own.
Amazment that I even have 4 children .

My husband everything about him.
Hearing him say I love you.
Having his arm around me.
The wonderful father my husband is to our children.

Being a homemaker.
Homemade anything.......
Sewing can get lost in it for hours.
Fabric stores..

Tacos, ice cream, cheesecake and yes pizza New york style.
Doritio's with ranch dip.

My husbands family who is always there....

Hope one day my family will be also ....

Friends.........who love ya for you.

Jesus!
