For Today November 2, 2009
Outside my window.....a bit dreary looking, temp dropped, more fall like.
I am thinking...the yuck in this house needs to go away. Baby girl has the mucus in her chest now that wants to just hang on. The boys and I are in our 3rd week.
I am thankful for....being able to home school my children.
I am wearing....walking clothes.
I am remembering.....the need to go by library on our way to orchestra.
I am going....try to relax with the as we watch a history video.
I am reading....recipes magazines, ideas for Thanksgiving. Not sure why I normally do traditional but I do like trying something new and different each year.
I am hoping....to begin to see some significant weight loss soon.
On my mind....meal planning for the week. Making sure the big meals are at the end since the cousins will be here.
From the learning rooms...looking for some good truthful history videos not sure where to begin would like to be WWI and WWII and Vietnam.
Noticing that....even though it has been hot and humid the trees still know it is time to drop their leaves. We just miss out on the wonderful colors.
Pondering these words...The Ten Commandments, been teaching the children the importance of them and memorizing.
From the kitchen...I am thinking chili. It is cool enough finally.
Around the house....decorated for Thanksgiving. I forgot about some of the things I had since they have been put up for 2 years.
One of my favorite things....bright colors of fall leaves.
From my picture Journal...violin practice along with his best friend Gloria.

Hi, just stopping by from the Simple Woman's Daybook site! :) I am kind of new to the process!
Chili sounds amazing! mm... I might need to add that to the menu for this week! :)
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Dropping by from Peggy's to read your daybook. I hope you and your children get well soon. Have a blessed day.
I can not believe you are still not well. I do not like having to read your Daybook to catch up with what's going on in your life, (although I do like reading your Daybook). Hoping to see you later today!
Blessings friend...

I am sorry to hear you still have illness at your house. I pray you all will be well very soon.
I like looking at Holiday magazines. I enjoy seeing the table settings and some of the recipes look good too. My family likes to stick to the traditional, also. I'm pondering the turkey at this time. We bought one that was already cooked last year. Mine are always so dry. I am thinking it might be because I don't do stuffing. Does that make them less dry?
Anyway, I hope your week turns out well.

Just stopping by this morning. I'm trying to find new blogs that I have visited with the daybook. I love the violin photo. I'm hoping to get my oldest violin lessons before she graduates. We are a little late in the process.

chili sounds wonderful! We have always been traditional with Thanksgiving...until last year when we went to Disney World. Now we kind of like going somewhere and just enjoying the family without all the stress. Hope everyone is well soon!
Hi, Tara - I enjoyed reading your Daybook. I'm a homeschool mom, too, and its always encouraging to see what other hs families are up to! The library is on my to-do list today, too :) We just spent a couple of weeks with the flu at our house, too, I know what a challenge that can be...hope you are all feeling better soon. God bless!
Home schooling is wonderful. I admire all of you young mothers who home schools. I hope the yuck goes away soon. I have a lot of mucus problems also. Have a great week.

I hope you all feel better soon. Hot chili sounds good! Take care!
Extra hot chili should break that mucus up right quick.
This will be my 2nd week doing the daybook. Yours was joy to read.
