For the past couple months my dining table has been covered in bridal shower decor. This weekend I watched my baby girl turn a drab county park rental into a beautiful space for her best friend.
The talent she has is amazing and it wasn’t just myself that told her she should be a party planner.
As you are in the mix of raising your children you have thoughts, dreams and ideas of who they will be, what they will do. Some come true and some you never expected.
I am extremely proud of all 4 of my children. The biggest worry for me was then knowing Jesus. They were all saved young. They are now of their own accountability to God. Each of them are still followers and we now have conversations of what they are learning in their walk. They each are still come to mom and dad to talk and want us in their life’s, they are close to each other. All have great jobs/careers.
Love sitting watching all of my kids now raising their children, being a party planner for their best friend, just watching their gifts God blessed them with be used.
I am also learning that the mother role has changed and I don’t need to monitor or give unsolicited advice anymore. They are now in that role and I get to enjoy the benefits of the years spent investing.
